A LITTLE SOMETHING ABOUT ME
Hi! My name is Amber and I am a working mum who enjoys crochet, the great outdoors, taking photos, reading and making random things. I live in the beautiful city of Sydney, Australia with my husband and two children.
The name 'amberjadelily crochet' comes from my love of crochet and my daughters middle names 'jade' and 'lily'. I work in a community centre running programs for children, families and seniors and moonlight as a support worker for people with a disability.
In my downtime, I enjoy crochet. It helps me relax and calm my mind. Most of the time I tend to recreate patterns from a range of talented designers (that way I don't have to think too hard), but occasionally I branch out, let the crochet hook do the talking and create something of my own.
I decided to give this blog thing a go to share some of the amazing patterns I have found and made and to share a few of my own designs.
Knowing me, there will also be random posts on places I have visited, things I have done that I have found interesting and random musing....but mainly crochet! I hope you enjoy the content.
